Kevin Withnall

Kevin has been shooting professionally since high school. A member of the Australian Institute of Professional Protographers (AIPP) and, even after so many years doing this, is still passionate about photography.

A SCUBA Instructor for many years, it was obvious to join his interests and move into underwater photography in the ocean. This lead to setting up our underwater portrait shooting activities where we capture fantastic family or individual images for that special look you just don't get at in a studio setting.

His love of basketball and supporting the local team (the Illawarra Hawks) led to shooting for them for many games and his images have been used in many publications.

Coming from a computer science background, the technical aspects of the shooting and post production process has always been an interest. From staying up all night in a darkroom while at school, to the modern equivilent (the digital studio) achieving uniqie images is something thats always rewarding. This passion lead to the "Miltiple Person Panoramas" concept where the same person appears multiple times in a single image. This has since extended to weddings to grab that special image that the whole family just must have a print of.
